The highest yajna

The person who performs the yajna of knowledge makes a greater sacrifice than another who performs the yajna of money,for the yajna of knowledge covers everything,money and all other things.Knowledge covers everythg which exists in the world,with out reference to the distinction betwen living and non-living.If we understand the terms dravya and janana in a wide sense,a yajna of knowledge includes yajna of every kind of dravya.Anyone who imparts the highest knowledge to us,convinces us to the very depth of our being that the body is not the atman,performs a very great yajna indeed

The system of education in ancient India required the students to live in the campus of a forest academy along with the teachers. The teaching imparted was, almost always, in the form of sutras or aphorisms, followed by explanations and discussions. Kapha-Kaarak or Pitta-naashak mudra

Popularly known as Praan mudra, this mudra increases the Kapha humor but decreases the Pitta humor with in the body. Mehtod: This mudra is formed by joining together the tips of the thumb the ring finger and the little finger, Effects : This mudra brings about an increase of Kapha humor with in the body.
